Common Wealth Seed Co Description

Thornberry Pie is a modern US cross of Wedding Pie × Wild Thornberry. Common Wealth Seed Co’s proven Wedding Pie selection was combined with the Wild Thornberry pollen donor to create this distinctive genetic. Developed within the Thornberry line, it brings together Wedding Pie’s characteristic background with Wild Thornberry’s pronounced strawberry and gas profile.

Plant Structure and Characteristics
Thornberry Pie develops a vigorous plant structure with slightly more stretch than some other genetics in the Thornberry line. Sufficient vertical space should therefore be taken into account, particularly when growing indoors. According to the breeder, some phenotypes express distinctly pronounced grape notes, combining the influences of Wedding Pie and Wild Thornberry in their own unique way.

Suitability for Processing
This cross is particularly suitable for processing, including the production of hashish. According to Common Wealth Seed Co, Wedding Pie regularly achieves wash yields of more than 6%, while Wild Thornberry was also selected for its pronounced washing characteristics. By combining both parents, Thornberry Pie was specifically developed as a new hybrid line that brings these traits together.

Aroma and Flavour
Thornberry Pie stands apart from many other crosses in the Thornberry series with its pronounced grape character. Intense ripe grapes combine with sweet strawberries, dark fruit nuances and a distinct gassy background. Wild Thornberry, itself a cross of Strawnana × Animal Face Kush Mints, contributes particularly to the strawberry and gas profile. Thornberry Pie combines Wedding Pie and Wild Thornberry into an intensely fruity US genetic with notes of grape, strawberry and gas.
