Candies Seed Co Description

Forbidden Fruit is a feminized variety from Candies Seed Co, part of Spritzer VOL.1, the brand’s collection focused on fresh, sparkling, and fruity terpenes. Its signature profile combines a cherry aroma with citrus undertones, creating an exotic and expressive experience accompanied by high potency. It is ideal for growers seeking a flavor-driven genetic for late-afternoon or evening enjoyment.

Genetics: Forbidden Fruit x Spritzer

This variety results from crossing Forbidden Fruit with Spritzer. All varieties in the VOL.1 collection share Spritzer as a common parent, combined with different guest genetics. Spritzer acts as the backbone of the series, providing a fresh, bright, and expressive fruity profile that goes beyond simple sweetness while maintaining good plant structure.

Forbidden Fruit is the guest parent in this cross, adding deeper and more exotic notes, with cherry as the leading aroma. This is a photoperiod genetic distributed in Collector Series format.

In cultivation: agile flowering and balanced production

During flowering, Forbidden Fruit completes its cycle in 8–9 weeks, offering a practical timeframe for a modern photoperiod variety. This makes it possible to plan harvests without excessively extending indoor cultivation. Its yield is medium, in line with the other varieties in the series.

As this is a terpene-focused line, special care should be taken during drying and curing to preserve its aromatic intensity. As with any seed genetic, results may vary depending on phenotype and cultivation method. It is therefore worth observing each plant and selecting the specimen that best expresses the cherry and citrus profile.

Flavor and effect: cherry, citrus, and presence

The aromatic profile opens with an intense cherry aroma, supported by bright citrus notes that add freshness and clarity. It is expressive from the first moment, while retaining enough depth and body to avoid becoming a simple sweetness. The profile fits perfectly with the fizzy fruit spirit of the Spritzer line.

The effect is suited to the afternoon and evening. It offers a pronounced flavor alongside a grounded experience, best enjoyed without rushing and more suitable for the end of the day than for daytime use. Candies Seed Co classifies it as having high potency, so moderate dosing is recommended for users with low tolerance.
