Star Apple is a feminized variety from Higher Heights, a breeder based in Mendocino County, California. It results from the cross between Green Apple Gas and Pineapple Mojito.

This large-sized plant grows quickly and develops pronounced aromas of sour green apple, sharp citrus, and creamy gas. It is designed for growers seeking abundant harvests without compromising on an intense terpene profile.

Genetics: Two Californian Lines with Intense Terpenes

Green Apple Gas was created at Higher Heights Farm in 2020 from a clone of GMO Cookies and Brozé (BanjoRoze x Russian Lemon). It contributes the apple and gasoline character, as well as good production. Pineapple Mojito (Carambola x Lemon Limez) adds size, speed, and yield potential.

The resulting plant has a broad structure, large leaves, strong branches, and numerous main tops.

In Cultivation: Vigorous, Wide, and Highly Productive

Star Apple has a flowering period of 8–9 weeks and is harvested outdoors in early October. It responds well to pruning the lower branches and the plant’s interior, helping to focus energy on the upper buds.

Although the branches are sturdy, staking is recommended because the flowers can become considerably large and heavy. This is a highly productive variety.

The flowers are large and compact, with notable resin coverage. They have a silvery-green appearance with purple and reddish hues, while some phenotypes develop distinctly purple colors.
