Freeworld Genetics Description

Furious George is a sativa-dominant hybrid from FreeWorld Genetics, created by crossing Starfire Cream × Tangerilla. The line combines the vigorous growth and complex terpene characteristics of its parents with an exceptionally pungent aromatic profile dominated by citrus, skunk, and funk.

Plants typically develop a vigorous, strongly branching structure with a semi-lateral growth pattern and respond well to trellising and other forms of canopy management. Furious George has an approximate flowering time of 9 weeks and can produce dense, resinous flowers.

Its defining characteristic is its unusually intense terpene profile. Aromas can combine pungent skunk, rotten orange, sharp citrus, and deep funky notes, creating a profile that is considerably more aggressive than a typical sweet-fruit cultivar. The Tangerilla influence contributes pronounced citrus and orange characteristics, while the Starfire Cream side adds depth and pungency.

Furious George became an important breeding line within the FreeWorld Genetics program and has been used to create numerous crosses, including Angry Peaches, Angry Apples, Red Dawn, Buck Nasty, Electric Lemonade, and White Wine Supernova. Its value as a breeding parent comes largely from its vigorous structure and ability to pass strong citrus, skunk, and funky terpene characteristics to its offspring.

The original Furious George selection has been maintained as clone material, while numerous crosses using it have been released as seed.
