DJ Short Description

Short in stature, but high in potency Whitaker Blues from DJ Short is a hybrid of the highest order. Whitaker Blues takes around 55-62 days (8 weeks) to reach its optimum flowering potential. From its intense aroma to its sedative-style high the strain ticks all the right boxes for both smokers and growers alike.

Very much a classic in the making (well quite literally in fact), Whitaker Blues is a hybrid with heritage. Developed by DJ Shorts son, the strain sees the merger of West Coast classic 'Quimby' (an Indica through and through) with DJ's personal selection Blueberry, thus giving birth to Whitaker Blues.

Almost entirely Indica in nature, the strain sits at an 80% (Indica) to 20% (Sativa) scale - unbalanced to say the least, but hey who's complaining? Undoubtedly lovers of Indica will instantly swoon all over Whitaker Blue, it's pungent aroma coupled with its sweet velvety grape and slightly vanilla flavor will be more than enough to tickle the taste-buds. Speaking of buds, Whitaker Blue's are loaded with resin all thanks to its accommodating stature - perfect for growing indoors. Both seasoned and novice growers will have no problem with this easy-to-grow, vigorous and satisfyingly sweet strain. On average, Whitaker Blues takes around 55-62 days (8 weeks) to reach its optimum flowering potential - super speed indeed! Once it has reached its flowered finishing line, you can expect to be treated to an experience of thrilling proportions.
Whitaker Blues is an incredibly potent blend of initial high's, munch middles (increased appetite) finishing with and calming sendoff. The only thing that is regular about Whitaker Blues is its sex, everything else is truly sensational. From its intense aroma to its sedative-style high the strain ticks all the right boxes for both smokers and growers alike. So all thats left to do is kick back and let Whitaker Blues take you deeper and deeper.

Whitaker Blues User comments

Altogether we've collected 1 about DJ Short.
Hi there, grown out 10 seeds of this strain.

5 of 10 went female, so i would say its okay. After switching to 12/12 they need only one week to start flowering. But in the 3rd week of flowering all 5 WB went hermie. I've removed the first bananas i've seen but they were erverywere. The plants recieve no stress from light or anything else. I'll be quite sure it was the strain, cause there were a sixt plant (CBD blue shark) in the tent and she was fine. a pure female.

So i Aborted the grow.
