The result is Northern Lights XL, an indica-dominant champion that yields incredibly high, is easy-to-grow for beginners, and produces extra-heavy buds.

One of the best growing traits of Northern Lights is the exceptionally short flowering time of approximately 60 days. A quick turnover like this can be beneficial when fast results are desired. Indoor growers can expect plants to be 120-150cm tall, and yields of up to 600-750g/m². Outdoor growers with a sunny growing location can really see the XL part of this hybrid: Plants grow to massive sizes and can reach heights of 170-200cm, yielding up to 550-650g per plant.
