Cannarado Genetics Description

Birthday Blues is an Indica dominant cannabis hybrid. It is the encounter between two highly prized strains in the US for the aroma and high THC levels: Blue Cookies by Cookie Farm （Girl Scout Cookies strain x Blueberry strain） and Birthday Cake cannabis strain, a Cherry Cookies S1 （Girl Scout Cookies x Cherry Pie）.

This genetic combination results in a magnificent plant that grows big, ramified and vigorous. It acquires a hybrid structure with mid-distance internodes and woody yet flexible stems. It adapts well to all types of cultivation systems, offering good results both indoors and outdoors.

It adapts well to SCROG cultivation, making the most of horizontal growth producing a sea of thick and heavy flower colas that maximise performance. When grown with no pruning, it is advisable to widen the plant with stakes or using the LST technique in order to maximise light penetration, thus obtaining voluminous and tall plants.

It offers a medium-high harvest with a yield of over 500g per m2 in an indoor grow tent, and a yield that can also exceed 800g per plant outdoors in open ground or in a 40L pot or larger. It produces buds loaded with resin trichomes and terpenes distributed along all branches tips and nodes, offering a succulent appearance.

A harvest with a very high terpenes load, offering an intense and flavourful aroma that combines sweet red fruit biscuit notes with creamy, vanilla, earthy and exotic touches. Aromas and flavours that are clearly perceived filling the palate for a long while, whether smoked or vaporised.

It produces a very intense effect thanks to the high THC levels, with an initially euphoric, cheerful and creative high that progresses to a more body buzz that hits the limbs hard, relieves muscle aches and helps to rest. It certainly induces a deep and restful sleep if smoked in a relaxed manner.
