OG Reekn is a new age ‘fuel’ Kush (as we like to call it due to the distinct flavour) also retains a strong citrus flavour from the mother – a female Wardareek’n which we were fortunate enough to be gifted from Rare Dankness Seeds. OG Reekn is a cross between a Rare Dankness Wardareek’n female & our own Kuchi Male. We selected a stinky phenotype of this very popular American genetic and crossed it with our most highly-potent and resinous Kuchi male. Through a selection we found a good phenotype which we carefully selected from The Devil’s garden to produce the OG Reek’n seeds.

These genetics were always going to produce a killer cross and they didn’t disappoint; taking home a 2nd place victory at the highly revered High Times Cannabis Cup Amsterdam in 2014.

This cannabis strain has firmly cemented itself in a competitive market as a force to be reckoned with and as a strain which can be counted on to always pack a lot of power. It is similar in growth to our Rollex OG Kush and displays a lot of sativa traits despite being indica dominant. OG Reek’n is a tall and stretchy plant which is good for Screen of Green method, as well as growing traditionally as a large plant. We find this plant easy to grow ourselves and very easy to manage in both of these ways. A top tip for a novice grower is to make sure to leave enough room for it to finish properly as this OG will double in height once the photoperiod is switched from vegetation. If you keep it small, you get a way better yield.

Left to grow tall, the sativa qualities really start to emerge. The flowering time is fairly long so be prepared for these girls to grow if left unchecked. For these reasons we have given the plant an Ease of Growth rating of medium, but experienced growers will have no problems. OG Reek’n really isn’t a tricky cannabis plant and is capable of growing outdoors in most climates.

Only available in non-feminized, you can tell the sex of the plant fairly early if you have a keen eye due to the emergence of pre-flowers. Growers wanting to grow mother plants or experiment with their own crosses will also value OG Reek’n for her strong and stable genetics. The strong body stone will be familiar to Kush lovers everywhere; perfect for evening relax, a deep and heavy stone. Ideal for a novice grower and a seasoned gardener alike, OG Reek’n never fails to reach its full potential.
