Elev8 Seeds Description

Tahquitz OG (pronounced TAH – KWITS) is a combination of some of the most popular strains every created. The smell/taste can be described as a bit of earth, fruit and spice all mixed together. This strain was created several years ago by Johnny, one of our breeders. It quickly became popular with the growers around him in the hills above Palm Springs and has been a main staple of large, outdoor gardens prized for its huge yield, great high and unique taste.

Here is the story of how Johnny gave Tahquitz OG its name:

Tahquitz was the first shaman created by Mukat, the creator of all things. Tahquitz had much power and became the guardian spirit of all shamans. Over time, Tahquitz began to use his power for selfish reasons, which angered the people. He was banished by the people to the canyon that bears his name, high in the San Jacinto Mountains in a secret cave below the towering rock where it is said his spirit still lives.

The rumblings heard deep within the mountain, the shaking ground and the crashing boulders are all evidence that Tahquitz still lives.

It is from this very place high in the San Jacinto Mountains we bring you “TAHQUITZ OG”…. tread lightly.
