Der Samen für die Sticky Orange XXL Automatic stammt aus einem Kauf über MySeeds. Der Anbau fand vollständig Indoor statt. Die Keimung verlief ohne Besonderheiten und die frühe Wachstumsphase zeigte ein gleichmäßiges, problemloses Wachstum. Die Pflanzen blieben strukturell kompakt, entwickelten jedoch zügig eine stabile Hauptstruktur mit mehreren funktionsfähigen Seitenästen.

Während der Vegetationsphase reagierte die Sorte neutral auf gängige Pflegeschritte wie Blattschnitt, leichtes Training und eine erhöhte Lichtintensität. Auffällig war, dass die Pflanze insgesamt wenig empfindlich auf Veränderungen im Klima oder bei der Nährstoffzufuhr reagierte. Die Internodienabstände blieben moderat, was den späteren Blütenaufbau positiv beeinflusst hat.

In der Blütephase entwickelte die Sorte ein klar wahrnehmbares citrusorientiertes Aroma, das sich im Verlauf intensivierte. Das Profil war während der letzten Wochen stärker ausgeprägt, wobei eine Mischung aus süßen und fruchtigen Noten dominierte. Die Harzproduktion setzte früh ein und baute sich kontinuierlich auf den Blütenständen auf, ohne dabei zu extrem zu werden.
