Dear green friends.
This time I have a growth rapport from the StrawBerry from SpliffSeeds.nl.
The delivery of the seeds was great no ad’s what so ever on the package just nice and discreet. I germinate the seeds the serious seeds way because I know the results with that way of germination. In the first few weeks it grows to be a little nice plant with many leafs and a few branches.
I cut the top off when they are three to four weeks old so that they’re going to grow more branches at the top. In the fourth week I started to give them some liquid fertilizer from Metrop and put them under the HPS 600watt light.
I set the timer on 18 light and 6 hours dark. When the plants are about 6 week old and have a height of about 25cm I’ll set the light timer on 12/12. In the first week of flowering you’ll see that the plant will grow a lot taller. In the second week of flowering you see the flowers starting to develop, it’s a beautiful sight. In the third week you’ll that the plant stops growing and will start to put all her energy in to the developing of the flowers.
As the weeks passed the plant grows to about a height of 1 to 1.20 meter. And they are bushy with lots of little cola’s and on top some big ones.
I don’t influence the growth of the plant other then cut the top off so I can see when I write about the strain the way it will grow with someone who does not have that much knowledge of growing, someone who starts for the first time.
After seven week the plants where ready to harvest. Normally they take about 8 weeks but they were ready for harvest. I toke about 40 to 45 grams off a plant dry without any tricks to increase the yield. So if you start for the first time it’s a good choice to start with. If you use a fertilizer the plant will tell when it is too much or too little.
Greets and smoke on.
SmokingBarney.
