In 2011-2012 I was deployed to Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan. Attached to 1/14th Cav, our job was to try and find possible weapons/bomb caches in the area and work with locals to build up the local area from being Taliban controlled a few years before. One day when we were out looking for a cache, we walked though various poppy and cannabis fields, these seeds were taken from one of the branches in a field that we walked through at roughly the Lat/Long posted above. A few viable seeds were in that branch which I took back home with me, and have been waiting to germ since 2012.
