Basic infos

Quick One is an ruderalis / indica / sativa from Royal Queen Seeds and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors (Where the plants will need a flowering time of ±60 days) Royal Queen Seeds's Quick One is only available as feminized seeds.

Royal Queen Seeds Description

Quick One is a fast-growing autoflowering strain. This was one of the first autoflowering strains developed. When it was first released, it was one of the quickest growing strains on the planet.

Coming from Canadian genetics, Quick One is based on the original autoflowering strain, Lowryder. This strain was created from a cross between Williams Wonder, Northern Lights and Ruderalis. The Ruderalis genetics gave the plant its autoflowering ability, which means it will flower automatically without a change in the light schedule. These genetics have given birth to almost all autoflowering strains available today.

Quick One seeds are all feminized and, when planted, will grow into strong female plants, flower automatically and be ready for harvest in around 8 weeks. Some plants may take up to 9 weeks to be fully mature, but that’s still pretty quick. Especially when you consider that some varieties of cannabis can take up to 20 weeks just to flower.

Quick One is a small, compact plant. Generally, it will not grow any taller than 50 to 60 cm. If grown well, it can yield up to 45 g per plant, and some growers have achieved even more. The plants have a fresh, herbal, almost citrus-like aroma. The taste is mild but good, and comes with a pleasant physically stoned effect.

Altogether we've collected 5 about Royal Queen Seeds.
I was expecting this to be finished well before my WWXBB photo periods, but she is currently on Day 102 from sprouting and Day 45 of Flowering and should be ready in about a week to 10 days. There are still clear trichomes, but some are now starting to turn amber. To be honest, she behaved like a photo period and only started flowering 3 days before my WWXBBs. I trained with LST, but the stems were very brittle when younger and I accidentally topped her while bending and snapped another branch clean off as well. I also snapped another but managed to save that one. She didn't seem to care that she was topped or super cropped and took everything I could throw at her - a very resilient and forgiving strain. I don't know how tall she would have been had I not trained or accidentally topped her, but well over a metre. As it was, after LST and topping, it stood about 65 cm tall and 77 cm wide. I grew this using GH Gro Series nutrients under a Platinum P450 LED. I would thoroughly recommend this strain for a beginner but urge extreme caution if using LST due to the brittleness of the younger stems. Obviously, I have not sampled the buds, but they are plentiful and very sticky, but do not have a very strong smell.

Was picked for my 1st grow

Grown organically under 80 real watts of leds in 1 gallon pot

Yielded 10 grams in 60 days from seed per plant.

Very good strain for beginners.

Effect:

As an occasional smoker it always knocks me out. It has a very strong indica feel. Nevertheless it's still good for hanging out with Friends and playing the Xbox.

Very enjoyable when used in the edible form. It will not give you that couch lock if you're outdoors.

Taste: Excellent taste. It has a very Grapefruity smell to it.

Would recommend to beginners as it is a cheap strain and isn't high maintenance.
