I grew a few different moby dick plants outdoors, a few clones from a seed that I germinated and cloned for 3 years prior to growing outdoors, and a seed that I germinated that spring. All of the plants were started indoors and kept indoors until they were all around 12 inches tall, on a 18/6 hour light schedule and then moved outdoors in early June. The older clones started flowering in July and were mature in late August, and then re-flowered and all of the plants were mature by October 15. I had no problems with mold or anything like that. A few of the plants were around 6 feet tall, my biggest one yielded 8 ounces of dried herb, and the next smallest one had 6.5 ounces. A very easy strain to grow outdoors! Near the end of the flowering cycle it gets some purple hues on the leaves and some of the buds. We have heavy clay soil that I amended with Roots organic potting soil. The plants were watered with rain water, and tap water during the dry times, and no additional fertilizers or chemicals of any kind.
Grown 1 plant outdoors.
Very strong veg-phase, given enough nutes and sun it can grow easy over 100cm before flowering.
Grows vigourously - a thick main-stem and a lot of strong side branches to all directions.
Should be supported in the late veg & the flowering phase!
Outdoors, a well prepared warm place with good soil is a must.
Stretching: 120%
Endsize: 202cm
Smells a bit like peppermint mixed with pine but has that old-school-skunky flavour from sativa weed from the early 90's which is a bit in danger of extinction - what a pitty!
Efect is a floating-sativa-high which stays between 2 or 3 h. Perfect for anything creative.
