Much like Laura Winslow from Family Matters, this genetic really shines when she’s being cold. As the flowers mature, the Purple Urkle coloration comes through. But to bring out those dark, violet shades in her flowers, she needs to be exposed to colder temperatures near the end of the flowering cycle. Taking down the temperature can both increase production of Laura Winslow plants and infuse a deeper purple hue in her buds. That dark purple becomes almost black in many of the individuals’ finished flowers, giving them a stand-out appearance on the purchasing counter.
