Jalisco sativas are legendary and sought after for their resistance and terpene qualities and powerful psychoactive effect. They are characterized by being fast and resinous with high potency, long-lasting, joyful effects without becoming narcotic, most of the phenotypes expressing fruity aromas of carrot and incense.

The Mexican cannabis from Jalisco México from the collection of The landrace Team is of great vigour to grow. During its germination stage it grows very fast with thick stems, large cotyledons and its first medium-sized close-up leaves reflect the great potential in vigor. When it is a seedling we can see palmate leaves of 5 and 7 leaflets of a medium and wide size that with the time and as the vegetative stage progresses, the leaves become thinner and thinner.

At first we might get confused and say that we are in the presence of a line with indica genes;
As the plant grows, they become thinner and thinner, short and medium internodal spaces from 3 to 12 cm between each one, dark green leaves and some very beautiful bright yellow green with a very marked and symmetrical serrating on all the leaves with thick stems with a pungent smell of freshly cut grass.

The vegetative stage goes from 13 and 14 weeks when they grow from 150 to 180 cm.
The flowering of the Jalisco sativas is abundantly resinous and bushy maintaining the structures of a pointed sativa. It is very productive, creates beautiful flower clusters and resin-filled flowers that emanate aromas of ripe red berries, pine, sweet carrots and a strong smell of incense.

The flowering goes on for 12 to 13 weeks, producing flowers resistant to pests, humidity and fungi.
The flavor on the palate is of incense and fruity and stays for a long time on your palate.
The effects are powerful, psychoactive and long-lasting. The effect usually lasts a good 3 hours, very clear in your head. We have found 4 phenotypes and all of them produce good amounts of resin.
The flowers when drying and curing perfectly finish with a peculiar light golden colour.

*** COMMENT FROM A GROWER ***

The opposite of beauty pageant vanity glamour weed. This is old school from the earth outdoor commune with nature psychedelic plant medicine. Nothing superficial, no hype, all substance, this is real. Smells like pine, menthol, and earth – no candy, no gas. Have shared these flowers with a few professional stoners, and they all agree, this delivers a sublime high. If you have never grown or consumed these old classic landraces you’re missing out.
This is something totally different from modern polyhybrid weed. The effects are truly psychedelic, expansive, a bit giggly and powerful. If i were to use an alcohol analogy, this Jalisco would be a fine aged mezcal.
