Basic infos

Hibiscus S1 is an mostly indica from R-KIEM Seeds and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors (Where the plants will need a flowering time of ±67 days) R-KIEM Seeds's Hibiscus S1 is only available as feminized seeds.

R-KIEM Seeds Description

Hibiscus S1 is the feminized version of one of the standout varieties in the R-Kiem Seeds catalog: Hibiscus Regular. Created as an S1 from a carefully selected elite clone following a rigorous phenotypic selection process, it preserves and stabilizes all the qualities that made the original cross so distinctive. The result is a reliable, high-end feminized strain that combines consistency with premium performance.

Genetics: tropical heritage meets OG Kush roots

Hibiscus Fem originates from the cross Hawaiian Sunrise × Gupta Kush. Hawaiian Sunrise contributes a rich fruity character and vibrant tropical expression that strongly defines its aromatic identity. Gupta Kush, carrying direct lineage from the OG Kush family, adds compact structure, dense bud formation, and the deep, physically grounding effect typical of OG genetics. The result is an 80% indica-dominant hybrid with THC levels reaching up to 26%, notable both for its potency and its layered sensory profile.

Indoor and outdoor cultivation

Indoors, Hibiscus Fem completes flowering in around 9–10 weeks, with yields estimated between 450 and 500 g/m² under optimal conditions. Its compact structure, short internodes, and sturdy branches allow it to comfortably support heavy buds, making it well suited for SCROG or SOG techniques. Resin and trichome production is evident from the early flowering stages, making it particularly attractive for extraction-focused growers. A final root flush in the last two weeks is recommended to fully preserve its aromatic profile.

Outdoors, Hibiscus Fem reaches maturity around mid-October in the northern hemisphere and adapts well to both temperate and warm climates. Its stability and resilience make it a reliable, low-maintenance option for gardens and terraces with strong light exposure.

Aromas, flavors, and effects

The aromatic profile of Hibiscus Fem is driven by ripe pineapple and tropical fruit notes, layered with citrus accents and a soft earthy Kush background. The result is an intense, complex, and long-lasting aroma, with tropical floral nuances that persist from drying through to consumption. On the palate, the sweetness of pineapple blends with spicy, musky OG undertones, creating a rich and lingering aftertaste that invites continued enjoyment.

Its effects are primarily physical, deeply relaxing, and long-lasting, while maintaining a clear and comfortable mental state without heavy sedation. Potent yet not overwhelming, Hibiscus Fem is especially suited for evening use, rest, and recovery.
