Grape Jam is an mostly indica from Sensi Seeds and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors (Where the plants will need a flowering time of ±63 days) Sensi Seeds's Grape Jam is only available as feminized seeds.

Sensi Seeds Description

Grape Jam Feminized is an 80%/20% indica/sativa hybrid from Sensi Seeds’ Breeding Grounds in collaboration with the team at Fat Beans, created by crossing Hindu Kush with Granddaddy Purple. The result is an unmistakably indica plant with an incredibly short, compact stature which is still capable of producing large yields. This strain is a classic indica in every way with tight internodal spacing, a short stature, and a powerfully sedative high.

By combining the pure indica genetic of Hindu Kush with the slightly hybrid Granddaddy Purple, we’ve been able to create a strain which blends the classic landrace with modern genetics. The result is a plant ideal for almost any indoor grower regardless of space or privacy concerns.

Growth pattern of Grape Jam Feminized

Grape Jam Feminized cannabis seeds typically grow into compact plants with tight internodal spacing and thick, robust branches. These genetics are heavily indica and that shows up in every aspect of the growing plant and finished buds.

Indoors, Grape Jam Feminized typically finishes flowering at heights of anywhere from 25-80 cm making it one of the shortest plants that growers can pick. Despite its small size, this strain can still produce large yields ranging from 350-475 grams per square metre over its 60 to 65-day flowering period. If grown outdoors, these plants can grow a fair bit larger but are still unlikely to top 125 cm. Outdoor growers can look forward to harvests in the range of 400-550 grams per plant.

The buds from a Grape Jam Feminized plant are dense and round with striking purple hues that add to the strain name. These compact and solid buds are wrapped in a thick layer of resinous trichomes. Despite the strain’s bushy vegetation and short internodal spacing, the buds aren’t overly leafy which makes trimming a simple task.

Thanks to these plants’ compact structure and robust branches, they are an excellent choice for a sea of green (SOG) setup and their thick, robust branches can support the massive colas that lollipopping can create. Additionally, these same thick branches respond very well to supercropping. However, these same features (short internodal spacing, slow vegetative growth) mean that this strain is a poor candidate for mainlining or a screen of green (SCROG).

Effects, taste, and smell of Grape Jam Feminized

While growing, Grape Jam Feminized doesn’t give off much of an odour. Even at the height of flowering, the smell is subtle with earthy and herbal notes taking the lead while less distinct hints of sweet grape and berries that gradually intensify as the plant matures. Even at its peak, though, the aroma is fairly mild. Privacy-minded growers shouldn’t need to worry too much about this one.

Once the buds have finished curing, the aroma kicks up a notch as a blend of earthy pine, sweet grape, and berry notes blasts your nose. Hiding just underneath these scents is a hint of floral complexity. Overall, the scent can be described as “rich” and “potent”. The flavour is largely in line with what you’d expect from the smell; sweet and earthy on the inhale with prominent grape and berry flavours which slowly give way to a more piney finish.

Much like the growth pattern, the effects of Grape Jam Feminized are distinctly indica with a powerful, relaxing body high coupled with comparatively mild cerebral effects. This strain is likely to leave you locked to the couch, so grab some snacks, put on a movie, and get comfortable. This strain is an ideal pick for wrapping up at the end of a long day.
