The Gelato 33 Strain cannabis seed by Linda Seeds results in a wonderful hybrid plant from the clones "Sunset Sherbet" and "Thin Mint GSC" (Girl Scout Cookies) which are well known in the USA. There are a wide range of phenotypes of this Gelato strain and it is not easy to say which is the best. Linda Seeds Gelato 33 strain goes back to the original clone (Larry Bird). It is a uniformly growing hybrid plant with thick, compact and extremely resinous flowers, which is reminiscent of Girl Scout cookies with occasional purple tones. Low night temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees Celsius (55-59°F) are necessary to really "purple" the plant. It is sufficient to lower the temperature for three to five nights. During the day, normal temperatures of 22 to 28 degrees Celsius (72-82°F) are required for this Gelato strain plant to develop further.
Extremely high THC content of more than 20%
The Gelato 33 Strain by Linda Seeds flowers fully in nine to ten weeks, depending on the conditions, and develops beautiful orange pistils. Its flowers smell fruity, slightly lemony and produce well over 20% THC. The plants do not grow too tall, therefore we recommend to plant at least 12, rather 16 plants per square meter (10.76 sq.ft) for an average growth time of 4-6 weeks from germination, in order to have a fully occupied tent. If you want the plants to grow larger or if you want to do a SCROG, you will of course need fewer Gelato strain plants.
