Additional Information

I have grown Buku four times now and the plants keep getting bigger and bigger as my expertise improves. I wanted to post to contradict what a previous poster wrote about its small size. My latest beauty was 64" tall and fully shaped like a Christmas tree. It likes a lot of nutrients including nitrogen well into its final weeks to keep all the leaves green. I grow outside in a screened in pool room in Florida. The seed germinated on April 4th and I harvested on July 12th. I put it into the flowering stage via stopping artificial lighting enhancement when it reached 48" tall in veg stage on May 25th. It probably would have grown taller if I'd used a bigger pot. When I examined the plant root ball afterwards it appeared root bound. I have grown other strains as well but this has been my best for this location/climate.

GrowIt says

Really disappointed in how small of a yield this strain generates, but the quality of the buds are really extraordinary...very OG Kush-like in high quality.

The branches all became VERY weak during late flowering, and I lost a few as they would break off during a simple rain storm toward the end...when all my other strains pulled through just fine.

This strain finished flowering at just over 2 1/2 feet tall...and it was planted in a 5-gallon bucket in mid-April.

Not sure if I would grow this strain again, just because of its very small yield and questionable growth characteristics.

Jury is still out on this strain, but if you do grow it, you will at least be happy with the strength of the bud, but pissed there is not more of it.
