I'm pretty disappointed with the HSO strains. Their biggest problem - unstable genetics. If you buy 3 seeds of 1 strain, you will get 3 completely different plants, which have nothing in common with each other.
So, My Bubba's Gift experience.
Only 2 seeds popped up from 3. The plants are slowly growing, at the beginning - typical indica with huge leaves. After 2-3 weeks plants tend to stretch a bit, and the leaves become more sativa-looking.
The flowering period is very short, maximum 60 days. I had 2 plants, and both of them differed much from each other. One is stretched, with small buds and very fragile - all the way it was covered with stains, slowly growing, sick. Another plant was much more vigorous, compact, strong. At the end both of the plants became a bit black and purple, which made them very beautiful. The buds are average, covered with "ice".
The first plant, "sick" one, was not productive - only 15-!!! gr of cured buds.
Second plant, compact one, showed much better productivity - 30 gr of cured buds.
Aroma: the smell of buds is very strong and pleasant. Something in between fuel and fruits.
Effect: I expected some killing indica, but I was wrong. The weed is not so strong, but rather psychedellic, very positive and "smiling". It's long lasting. Overall impression - very good, but not extraordinary.
Overall impression: 4 from 10.
The crop is very small, the plants are not potent, the weed itself is not remarkable.
Bubba's Gift is not worth growing!!!

Gutes und starkes Gras, mit leider geringem Ertrag. Der Geschmack und die Wirkung retten ein bisschen was, aber für die paar Gramm kaum den Aufwand wert.
