Bear Creek Seed Breeder Collective, established in the Basque Country, is at the origin of the selection and the stabilization of the most beautiful Beldia parents. Through their work and in collaboration with Author Seeds, they made this new feminized cannabis strain available for 2020.

A breeder from Bear Creek Collective told us how the project for this landrace was launch. Plants came in our hands directly from Morocco from a Moroccan hash producer, he wanted the Beldia to be developed as feminized seeds, and so began our journey which was about selecting and backcrossing.

Knowing that the original Beldia seeds （male & female） were given by the local growers themselves is something very important for the cannabis seeds collectors, and this surely helped in the quality of the selection when compared to others methods used to obtain
landrace cannabis seeds.

Beldia is much appreciated for its light brown resin with a delightful sweet aftertaste reminiscent of old school Hash. This strain grows wild and some specimens in their regular form possess autoflowering characteristics. Bear Creek refined this strain till F5 （BX5 for backcrossing） to eliminate those characteristics and ensuring that they won't be present anymore in the off spring for these feminized seeds.

Resin and oil （BHO） extractions doesn't yield as much as American or European strains, which is totally understandable given its half wild characteristics but it's really delightful to smoke a plant with an ancestry that is different than Skunk, Afghani or Haze. Sweet and musky aromas, a balanced effect with 15% max THC and CBD rates between 0.2% et 1%.

Beldia is well suited for unaccustomed consumers or for those seeking something smoother and less sedating. The most interesting thing growing those cannabis seeds from Morocco is their resistance to drought and inclement, harsh climates which makes them very well suited for outdoor and guerilla growing.

Beldia is a cultivar, a landrace cannabis strain, a light feeder, especially nitrogen, with short internodes and a high bud / leaf ratio. Seeds can adapt to any type of soil as long as it's not too acidic nor too alkaline （lime）.
