On the one hand, Amherst Sour Diesel is a Sativa dominant hybrid (80%), a cross between a pre-90' Chemdawg selection and Amherst Super Skunk (Skunk #1 x Afghanistan) originally from Amherst in Massachusetts.
This encounter results in vigorous and branchy plants that develop a thick and heavy central cola surrounded by a multitude of secondary branches that try to reach the main one. When provided with the necessary substrate it becomes a real resinous monster up to 3m high.
It can also be cultivated in smaller spaces, either on a terrace or indoors, obtaining also great results. It is well adapted to both SOG and SCROG cultivation, as well as to optimisation techniques such as moulding and tutoring.
It offers a yield of up to 600g per m2 in an indoor grow tent, and can yield up to 2000-3000g per plant cultivated outdoors in open ground. This production benefits if it is widely spread as you can observe how all the knots and the branches' tips are filled with extremely sticky flowers. The harvest is ready after about 65-70 days.
Amherst Sour Diesel x Somango, vigorous and branchy
It produces flowers with THC levels of 27%, with a long lasting intense euphoric, psychedelic and cerebral effect. It launches you into the stratosphere while progressively relaxing your body.
It offers an aroma that blends floral, sweet, herbal and ripe fruit notes with fuel and exotic wood touches. Aromas and flavours that impregnate your palate and leave a pleasant aroma around where you consume it.
Somango, on the other hand, is a cross between Big Skunk Korean and the well-known Jack Herer (Haze x {Northern Lights #5 x Shiva Skunk}), a 75/25 Indica Sativa hybrid.
It is a plant that develops quickly and vigorously reaching a considerable height. It produces abundant and quite long lateral branches that benefit from apical pruning in order to obtain a beautiful and dense SCROG.
Amherst Sour Diesel x Somango, easy to cultivate and very aromatic
It is also well adapted to other techniques such as SOG or Supercropping, but more control is needed so that it does not exceed vertical growth particularly cultivated in an indoor grow tent.
During the flowering stage, the leaves and buds can acquire purple tones that contrast with a deep green colour. With a thick layer of super-aromatic resin crystals offering tropical mango and ripe fruit notes. Aromas and flavours intensified in a marijuana vaporiser.
The harvest is ready after about 9-10 weeks of maturation, offering a medium-high yield of about 450-500g per m2 indoors, and about 600-700g per plant cultivated outdoors.
It produces a stimulating, creative, euphoric and pleasant effect, balancing a desire to be active and talk with a relaxing body feeling without leaving you glued to the couch.
