Frankie’s Incense Haze x Sawā ’Negus’ F1

Mother – Frankie’s Incense Haze – Clone only ’90s NYC Haze X Jack Herer – by Chimera

“The genetics surrounding Frankie’s Incense Haze are said to be the true and renowned 90’s NYC Haze, crossed with a very ‘limey’ phenotype of Jack Herer. The NYC Haze sale and cultivation was a closely guarded secret by gangsters. Said to be owned and grown originally by the Dominicans, it made its way to NYC via FL”.

This haze hybrid was bred by Chimera. The bud is a light green with prominent red hairs. The aroma is sweet, earthy, spicy…and well, a bit like incense. The smoke is incredibly smooth, with a very slight tingle on the tongue. Taste seems generic at first but ends with a sweet finish. The high is the real deal. This strain is an incredibly good mood enhancer and produces a speedy, productive high while not being overpowering or anxiety inducing.

STRAIN SUMMARY

For those of you new to our feed, Long Island Haze is ya strain from our first ‘collection’ we released a few years ago. Using our flagship Sawa male we created 10 strains, Long Island Haze being one.

We pollinated our selection of Chimera’s Frank’s Incense Haze – NYC Haze (Clone only) X Jack Herer – to create the hybrid, which has since produced some incredible offspring. You can learn all about FIH on ICMAG, where there’s a whole thread of people arguing about it 🤣 , and every other Haze / Piff / CBH / A5 / C5 / JH related strain. But it’s a great read with tons of info.

FIH mixes two of the best hazes, the NYC Haze (aka The Piff / Church / Frankie’s) and Jack Herer. The NYC Haze is ‘said’ to have A5 Haze in its genes, while JH is said to lean more to the C5 Haze. Both are opinions made by numerous growers, so please don’t scream at us if you don’t agree. 

This Long Island haze is a solid 50/50 pheno that clearly represents both parents. Both hazes are very clear in structure and density, as are aspects of Sawa. Aromas for this lady go straight up lemon 🍋 polish, which is all from the Sawa. And the huge hazy nugs are rock solid too.
