Slabs Description

Shulgar #14 is the result of a meticulous 60-seed selection drawn from the Shulgar region of northern Afghanistan. This region, located in Balkh Province, lies along ancient trade arteries that once formed part of the historic Silk Road, linking Central and South Asia through a corridor of cultural and botanical exchange. Though geographically separate from my homeland in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, both regions are intrinsically tied through shared histories shaped by the movement of people, traditions, and cannabis genetics across the Khyber Pass.

This cultivar represents the deep heritage of the Shulgar district, known locally for producing some of the strongest and most aromatic hashish in the Balkh region. The fertile plains of Shulgar are enriched annually by the Qairang River, which deposits micronutrients and mineral-rich sediments—contributing to the distinct chemical expressions found in local cannabis populations.
