This highly stable F8 version of one of the world’s most popular cannabis strains has its roots in the Amazon, where it was used in a spiritual context. The exact origin of the plant is a mystery. Our breeders crossed her with Mexican Haze and Silver Pearl years ago and inbred the resulting cross for 4 generations, then backcrossed her with a pure Santa Maria mother for 8 generations. As a result, Santa Maria’s best traits emerge in a stable form every grow.

The plant is extremely suitable for both outdoors and indoors. In both cases, you can count on a flowering time of about 60 days, which is very short, especially for a sativa-dominant plant. Indoors, the recommended pre-grow period is just 3 to 5 days, because the plant grows quite fast in height. This is one of the reasons why we recommend topping, both indoors and outdoors. If you top her, she will be able to carry her buds better. The plant will then also develop more width, so in an indoor cultivation approximately 9 to 12 plants per m² are advised.
