K1 is an sativa from French Touch Seeds and can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse (Where the plants will need a flowering time of ±120 days) French Touch Seeds's K1 is/was never available as feminized seeds.

French Touch Seeds Description

K1 a.k.a. Kalité Tizane is a pure sativa landrace marijuana strain from the island of La Réunion located off the eastern coast of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. The Bourbob Breeders there have stabilised this special strain over a period of a decade or more with the result that hermaphroditism has been reduced to a rate below 5%.

K1 performs to its full potential when grown outdoors close to or within the tropics, ideally planted directly into the ground although a minimum of 35 liter pots will suffice. If grown indoors from cuttings it is highly recommended to go straight to 12/12 (light/dark) in order to keep some control over the stretch that these plants will undergo.

Yields outdoors can exceed 1000 gr/plant of dried buds. This is not a strain for the novice; it requires some skill and a lot of patience. Indoors it will take between 110 - 130 days of flowering (12/12) whereas outdoor cultivators can expect to harvest their plant(s) by the end of November north of the equator. Definitely an exotic sativa for the dedicated outdoor enthusiast in warmer climates.
