GrouchyOldMan Description

Aphrodite (Afro-Die-Tee) is a feminized strain with a quick germination, uniquely fast and robust root development and a typical 70-80 days flower to harvest.  This is an F1 cross between two robust parents: Frankenstein’s Daughter IBL is the female side of this cross with Gorilla Grove providing the pollen. Both of these seed lines have a history on Overgrow, I like to think of them as Overgrow.com Cultivars!

Gorilla Grove was a fortuitous creation by @Floyd crossing a very rare Tall Pheno female of Orange Gove (the medical grade insomnia hero, by @JustSumTomatoes) pollinated by @Tonygreen’s powerful Gorilla Glue 4 RIL. The seeds that Maestro Floyd created have a small, fortunate, following among those us who were fortunate enough to grow and sample Gorilla Grove. I have a few dozen jars of epic weed in my locker and Gorilla Grove has delighted me over and over, both in growing and in consuming!

Aphrodite combines recognizable characteristics of these two unique strains:

• From Frankenstein’s Daughter, The unique dual mode high that allows you to be couch-lock relaxed when you choose, and coke-rush on task maintaining when necessary. A high you can use on your lunch break and be confident of functioning when the bell rings, (or the wife calls.)
• Gorilla Grove contributes the secret sauce, a potent GG4 buzz and that naughty gift of a subtle but unmistakable warm arousal of the loins. Gorilla Grove is one of the few authentic and reliable aphrodisiacs in the cannabis global genome! Aphrodite herself would approve! It wouldn’t be gentlemanly to elaborate, but wow! Jus Sayin.

I don’t expect Aphrodite to produce a superweed THC high, but a delicious blend of the characteristics described above should be memorable.

Aphrodite isn’t likely to be a fussy plant. Both parents are robust plants with an alternating symmetrical spiral structure that usually won’t need much trimming to expose every fat cola to the photon flood, whether it comes from the Sun, or your grow lights. Both parents grow well indoors and outside, flowering in 8-10 weeks. I expect Aphrodite to be regular sex phototropic seeds.
