Background

CHA’s genetic development program is headquartered in Humboldt County, CA. CHA takes pride in being connected across the industry with farmers and breeders, both groups whom supply CHA with elite cuts, phenomenal seed crosses and other landrace varieties which are used to create hybrid vigor within the breeding programs. All seeds are produced using full sun in greenhouse settings. Combined with fertilization programs, like Dragonfly Earth Medicine, that include inoculants of herbs, bacteria and humates, CHAnetics seeds are given the chance to develop strong endophytic microbes that give an extra boost to generate robust, healthy seeds. for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. These seeds are being created deep in the hills of Humboldt County with utmost intention to produce a large library of world-class genetic crosses.

CHA has been working on multiple types of breeding projects which include: feminized seeds, stabilizing traits, backcrossing and hybrid breeding. By working closely with growers who are also producing for concentrates, CHA has developed a number of crosses with concentrate producing genetics. The Slapz, Tropaya and Wilson lines are some examples of this work. An early 2022 project involved an open pollination with Lemon G Hashplant (LHP) males from Bodhi combined with amazing concentrate genetics from the industry. The Vitamin Z crosses just dropped and is a MUST for anyone who loves the zkittlez terpenes (shoutout to the terp hogz). Some will be better for flowers, others for extraction. CHAnetics have a little of something for everyone. 2023 yielded some valuable growth projects, the Grape GAK line, Frenchy’s Grapes Project, and the timeless Lime Sour line.
