A personal statement from Blackbird Preservations - "After a too long hiatus in normal life and several more years of searching, I was reunited with the first live plant I ever saw up close. Bubblegum may not be the greatest cut that ever lived, but it's a classic and she was my first. After putting together a modest seed collection, the pollen once again started to fly. Blackbird was more or less born out of demand. What started as a personal seed increase on a hard to find pack has grown into a humble attempt to preserve various genetic lines from proven classics and clone only cuts to heirlooms and farmed varietals. My hope is to provide growers with a blast from the past, and breeders with some of the old building blocks to introduce into their own work and keep them around for the years ahead."
