Platinum Spoon is a super special sativa blessing! This hybrid is mostly sativa dominant with just a hint of indica in the mix, and you’ll find many phenos that express like a true pure sativa with incredible foxtailing genetics on super vigorous plants. You’ll also find some plants that are like a supercharged hybrid with massive baseball bat buds! The smells will vary by pheno, and some notable expressions we’ve found in testing include a cherry dogshit pine, an intense berry, metallic zingy citrus, oldschool hazy types, rotten fruit, and more. You may also find mixes of candy and even spiced meat. The highs have been described as head numbing, eye lowering. Some phenos will be more energetic and some are more relaxing. Another pheno has been described as 3 shots of espresso and too heady for beginner smokers. Extremely loud. Multiple growers have kept their keeper cuts in rotation because of how good these effects were! Plants can flower from 8 to 10 or even 11 weeks, it depends on the pheno, and this is a great gene pool to explore to find a unique plant that you vibe with. I’d recommend anyone who has these to make F2 seeds if you like, because the potential in this gene pool is nearly limitless! The mother is a Dr. Grinspoon from 2019 Barney’s seed stock, a real wild oldschool style sativa plant with a popular uplifting buzz. The father is my Platinum Laos male, which is a cross of Laos Landrace and Platinum Punch (no girlscout cookies present in that by the way)! The platinum laos male selection is a new plant that you’ll be seeing more work from me very soon, it imparts a ton of my favorite sativa traits into all its crosses. It can also speed up the flowering time by just a few weeks without imparting too much indica quality. If you’re super lucky, you might even find some pink hairs! Platinum Spoon seeds are very limited, so get them while you can. Expect vigorous growth and a productive stretch (3x or so) with a high yield. Does great with topping and is an easy grow despite the sativa influence.
