If you stumble upon a cool video with extended info or a report about a cannabis-strain - now you can connect it to the seedfinder! This videos will be shown directly below the strain-description where you can watch it! For the moment this option will work only with youtube, but some more video platforms will follow if needed! It's very simple and will work like our ThreadFinder, you only have to insert the video-id, select a preview-image and hit a button - ready! You will find the upload-link onto the strain-description-pages, bottom right, into the big green upload-bar for strain-info. This option will be also integrated into our CannaFox Marijuana Add-On soon.

Our CannaFox-Plugin is online! All info about you will find onto Mozilla's Add-On-Page! To make it short: With the help of this addon you will knit more than 30 big cannabis marijuana grower forums together and you will have direct access to the strains connected to one of the threads out of this forums. This enables you to find more strain-related threads out of all forums very simple, and also you are able to connect threads to strains by self! Check it out!

Our new JSON API will deliver now all important data for own widgets and applications. With the help of the new output you have full access to our threadfinder, a possibility for webmasters of cannabis forums to realize an strain-connection for threads very simple. Also its possible to get all IDs now on the fly, with this new API you are able to create a strain-browser very simple! Click here for all info about the API, you will also find some small examples there.

The new SeedFinder JSON API provides all the relevant information for every cannabis strain in our database, including short reviews, charts, medical information, parents, hybrids and much more... Use a bit of JavaScript / Ajax, PHP (or the language of your choice) to request the latest information directly from the SeedFinder and include it live into your own website! You can make your own applications, or widgets for your website with this new API (our example widget coming soon) or integrate the data directly. Its use is completely free - please just note the Creative Commons licenses and put links to us if you use the API. We will extend this option a little bit in the future, we also will make an interface for a simple search, but more information on that later... Much has changed in the recent months, but sorry, i was too lazy to post all the small changings here ;) But I would like to emphasize an important change with the image-upload and the review-function:

1.: Now you can upload much larger pictures than before, the maximum height or width is 3000 px.
2.: The images can now be associated with a strain-review!

If you have already uploaded pictures and profiles to a variety, please click on the edit-link below your image and connect it to the right review. This will allow better filter-options, users can go directly from the image description page to the appropriate extra information - and we can show the right images below the respective strain-reviews.

The well-known and popular british seed-shop The Attitude is connected with the SeedFinder database up from now. You can find their offers - like the seeds from the other stores - with our search function or you can find them in our price comparison onto the strain-descriptions. In recent weeks there have been some updates.

1: The plant profile function has been extended
The entries for taste, smell and effect have been enhanced, structured and simplified. We can now visualize this data with the aid of dynamic graphics, based on the input of our users. Our pie-charts can be found here in our strain-clouds, here you can look out for similar tasting, effecting or smelling varieties! In the next weeks there will be some more updates here!

2: Automatic flowering varieties
Recently, more and more autoflowering varieties come on the market. These are now also listed in a separate category and the search function has been also extended. Flowering times of this strains will be shown as "from germinating to harvest".

A mass of new varieties were added, here you can find a list.
