T.H. Caeczar is the C.E.O. and founder of N.Y.Ceeds. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he started selling cannabis around New York City in the early to mid-2000s and eventually crossed paths with an employee at High Times Magazine in the early 2010s. After selling cannabis to them for several months, or about a year, High Times knew that he knew what good weed was, and he was offered an opportunity to judge at the 25th High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. A few months and a few more cannabis cups had passed, and he was offered work as a freelance writer for High Times Magazine and HighTimes.com. After getting a few articles under his belt and building a name for himself in the cannabis community through High Times, he was offered a job at Dark Horse Genetics in Denver, Colorado, to work at a licensed cannabis cultivation facility, where they would also do breeding projects on the side. Several years later, after learning the ropes of growing, breeding, and sourcing some of the most sought-after genetics in the world for growing and breeding purposes, he finally decided to give cannabis breeding a shot.
-
Within one year of releasing his Feminized Seed Project with Cannarado Genetics "SpritZer" clone as the pollen donor, he's signed contracts to use his genetics with some big names in cannabis, and his brand is slowly building up hype and making waves around the world due to multiple factors: his genetics were made with the "Hash Makers" and "Hash Farmers" in mind. The bag appeal, aroma, flavor, efficacy, growth traits, flower yield, and hash returns are what make the SpritZer special. It's one of those strains that fit into the Gelato/RuntZ category, but those genetics notoriously do not wash well for ice water extracts. SpritZer was the outlier and has a much better, much more desirable terpene profile, with all the RuntZ bag appeal. SpritZer has a grape bubblegum smell and taste, like the bag of "Big League Chew", and a cherry sherbet finish.
-
Those desired traits from SpritZer were being bred into genetics T.H. Caeczar sourced via clone and seed to make his SpritZer feminized crosses. Instead of conforming the current market trends of RuntZ, OreoZ, or Gelato crosses back to RuntZ, OreoZ, or Gelato crosses strictly for bag appeal, with no new unique terpene profiles being discovered, he decided to cover much more ground by expanding the search for new terpene profiles by breeding genetics from different ends of the spectrum or breeding strains with no similarities. He did some Spritzer crosses to some Gelato and ZkittleZ crosses to satisfy the current hype market, but that was to find something with heavy ZkittleZ or Gelato traits that wash much better in hash than the current "Clone Only" do. He also crossed SpritZer with Hazes, Chems, ZkittleZ, OGs, Diesels, Papayas, Wedding Cake, and many more crosses to try and expand the potential terpene profile spectrum for the world to enjoy!
