I got my start in the weed industry 27 years ago. In high school I was first exposed to marijuana. I was an honest kid, and went home to ask my parents about it. That&#039;s when they decided to be honest with me...and broke out a bag of weed. My first joint was smoked with my parents!! My step-Father was apparently a grower and used his Moms farm to do it. So at 16 years old, I was learning how to drive AND grow weed!!!! Guerilla growing was like my summer sport.<br /><br />At 18, started my own indoor weed growing operation. Rent was cheap back then, so I rented out two apartments in the same building （yes, the landlord knew what was up）. I lived in one, while the one above me was my grow spot. I worked in the bars downtown until I got my supply rolling. I continued to work in bars to make the right connections to unload it. I became completely self sufficient off of growing weed. I even registered a business and made weekly bank payments with receipts written as payment for a personal service. I paid my taxes.<br /><br />I met some bikers who respected my hustle, and they sort of took me under their wing. I was never a member myself, I just worked at the strip clubs and bars they owned. The guys I met were in their 40s and fully living the underground life. Giant industrial basements with 500 per plants per strain. I started picking up my trays of clones from these guys instead of ordering the seeds from Amsterdam myself. They had already planted hundreds and hundreds and done their selections of the Mother to use for maximum production and quality. The Island Sweet Skunk was my favourite （and a favourite of the music industry, hehe） and God Bud was a plant I didn&#039;t even want! It was too small for my liking. Anyhow, I&#039;ve spent a good majority of my life just growing weed and working out. Back when I could easily drop a QP for 800 bucks whenever I needed cash, life was a dream. Mostly.<br /><br />I had a few situations where I was in danger for sure. A street gang tried to rob me （&#039;The Slingers&#039;）. I moved quick. Some ex-con gun dealer began dating a close friend / customer and before I know it he&#039;s creeping outside my house. I moved quick. Lots of fast moves. With weed being legal to grow, people wanted seeds. So I decided to sell these old school lines as seeds.
