As this is my first try, can't say anything bad about it. Very nice and fruity fresh smell. Small sized and very fast flowering plant, unpretentious at all.
My plant grew in a very small pot (Parrot pot / https://www.parrot.com/us/connected-garden/parrot-pot).
So I can't say much about the yields as it haven't enought space for the roots to develope. I've kept it 24/24 schedule for the first 40 days, and after switched to 14light/10dark. In the end I've harvested around 17g of buds in 69 days. Not much at all but with an amazing aroma, pleasant taste and perfectly balanced effects wich perfectly fit with with daily activities.
Now im grow next two plants of the same Pineapple express auto. Only changes are the light hours 16light/8dark, bigger pots and trimmed top on the 4th week. All them slowered down the speed of developing as I'm on day 77 and its still not ready.
Anyway I am aware about that fact that the conditions wich I offer to the plants are far away from perfect, as well as my grower skills are. Because of that i wouldnt give an exact appreciation to this strain.
Photos of both generations I have uploaded to the strain gallery.
This was a purchased strain (Attitude, two beans) NOT a freebie, and was looking like a REAL WINNER. Eight days to germinate (excessive for me, used to seeing 3-5 days); ten days under CFL to generate transplantable root mass and three true nodes (typical). But eight days after transplant my pheno started showing lots of MALE FLOWERS at most stem junctions. Full grape clusters on stalks, unmistakable. Really disappointing as I was counting on this strain as quality med's for my spouse.
The only other time I have experienced such a problem was with a freebie "mystery" feminized photoperiod strain that turned out to be a full-on male autoflower. I understand autoflowers are a bit more complex to establish as a stable strain. But all the same, I view G13 labs as a top tier breeder who should have the resources to develop this into a stable strain before releasing to the public. I've had good luck in the past with their strains, so I'm extending the benefit of the doubt. Going to try contacting the breeder to see if this is a huge exception event, or if they feel they need more time to stabilize the strain. BTW, if anyone at SeedFinder has contacts at G13 Labs, please feel free to support me by forwarding a copy of this to them.
For the record, I count my years of growing experience in decades. Environment is single plant, 2'X2'X5'3" tent, 4-gallon Flo-n-Gro (hydro) bucket, 15-min. flood every two hours, 20/4 day/night schedule using a new 250W-MH in Cool Tube reflector w/dedicated 175CFM centrifugal cooling fan. Second 175CFM fan dedicated to Phresh carbon filter for exhaust odor control & creation of passive fresh air intake for 15 min. each hour. Stable indoor air conditioned room environment with minimal fluctuation of temps inside & outside tent. Cooled & aerated hydro reservoir w/ constant mixing circulation. General Hydroponics Expert Recirculating nutrient formula, w/ only deviation being replacement of RapidStart with SuperThrive @ 1mL / gal., and addition of VAM-myco's @ 1mL per gallon. Starting nute strength at 650-700ppm going to 880ppm after four days. This plant was loving its nutes as it progressed... until it grew nuts.
This tent/nute/single plant combo has consistently produced 6.5, 8, up to 11+ oz. of autoflowering goodness over seven past grows. So unless G-13 Labs can fix this, I'm going to have to look to their feminized photoperiod strain of Pineapple Express (which I also purchased/not a freebie either). But in the meantime I've lost (26) days toward replenishing the wife's meds, and I'm three months away from my photoperiods being ready. She's gonna be pissed if the Anesthesia runs out before a restart can finish.
I contacted G13 Labs to report these results, and was COMPLETELY disgusted with their response. Their reply was that they are not able to discuss germination of seeds, and if I insisted in continuing to discuss this they would have to delete me from their customer service database and not allow any further communication. My reply was that I am a medical grower, and it is NOT illegal for me to germinate the seeds. Further, if they really are breeders, they must have a location where their breeders work where it is NOT illegal to germinate seeds. No response. In fairness, they sent several replacement seeds, so I have to give credit where due. But I told them I did not ask for replacement or refund, and unless they could provide answers on how this happened, I was not interested in growing their product.
If anyone else has grown this strain, and had better results, I'm completely willing to accept this was a quality control error. But lacking contradictory results from another grower, I'm not comfortable investing the time to try this product again.
