Blackberry Herer Feminized is a 70% sativa-dominant hybrid created by Sensi Seeds Breeding Grounds in collaboration with Serge Cannabis. This strain was created by crossing the legendary Jack Herer with Blackberry Gary; Serge’s own blend of Gary Payton, Sunset Sherbet, and Zkittlez. The result is a strain with undeniably sativa-like effects and a well-balanced growth pattern.

These plants can grow somewhat large with strong lateral branches and a powerful aroma, making them tricky for some indoor growers. However, their versatile genetics makes them a good fit for a range of advanced growing techniques and their XL yields mean these plants are worth the effort.

Blackberry Herer Feminized cannabis seeds grow into fairly tall plants owing to their largely sativa lineage. These plants tend to develop around a large central stalk with robust lateral branches and fairly large internodal spacing. The stretch at the beginning of flowering was significant, so it may be worth flowering these plants slightly earlier than usual.

When grown indoors, expect Blackberry Herer Feminized to finish flowering at a height of 110-160 cm and produce 460-650 grams per square metre over their 65 to 70-day flowering period. If these plants are grown under natural sunlight, expect them to reach nearly double that size with heights of 300 cm being possible and yields of 560-640 grams per plant.

The buds themselves are compact and pointy with vibrant hues of purple and green and, once matured, the flowers are covered in frosty trichomes and amber pistils. The buds are dense yet airy enough to resist mould and have rather light vegetation. The minimal leaf growth and larger internodal spacing make trimming these plants relatively simple.

These plants are incredibly versatile and respond well to several advanced growing techniques. Thanks to their larger internodal spacing and rapid stretch, these plants are a good choice for mainlining or a screen of green (SCROG) setup. Additionally, their strong lateral branches make lollipopping or supercroppping a viable option. Unfortunately, due to their size, these plants do not fit well into a sea of green (SOG) grow.

While growing, Blackberry Herer Feminized gives off a fairly strong sweet and earthy aroma that fills the air, combining ripe blackberries and fresh pine. As the plants mature, this smell dominates the room and growers who value their privacy may wish to take extra steps to maintain discretion.

After the buds have been fully cured, they take on a slightly mellower aroma that’s accompanied by notes of dark berries and sweet citrus. The flavour highlights all of these scents as blackberry, sweet citrus, and earthy pine dominate. The inhale delivers a burst of fruity sweetness while the exhale leaves a smooth, spicy finish.
