Josh Del Rosso is a longtime cannabis grower and founder of Josh D Farms. This experienced grower is considered by many to be one of the pioneers of the OG Kush strain and has grown it exclusively for decades.

Josh's friend, Matt "Bubba" Berger, first brought the Kush to Los Angeles, California in 1996. After setting up a grow operation in Silver Lake, the two friends quickly realized how much demand there was for their strain. Growers from all over the country were eager to get their hands on one.

After Josh and Matt gave some clones of Kush to a few close friends, the strain spread like wildfire throughout California. Soon there were a variety of Kush phenotypes circulating around the country. To label theirs as the original, Matt and Josh began referring to the strain as "OG Kush ".

Since its arrival in California in the mid-1990s, OG Kush has become one of the most popular strains in the world. SFV OG, Ghost OG, Larry OG and other Kush cuts have been used by breeders to create an endless supply of modern hybrids. In an interview with DOPE Magazine, Josh D: said "OG became part of [most] exotics and is the backbone of new genetics. It's a cornerstone of the genetic library of cannabis."

Josh is still growing the OG Kush strain after all these years and has founded Josh D Farms to shine the spotlight on this legendary cultivar to keep the spotlight on this legendary cultivar. His passion and dedication to this plant has helped shape the cannabis industry of today.
