EZ Genetics specialises in carefully developed Zkittlez and OG genetics, with breeding projects built over multiple generations rather than relying on one-off crosses. Its catalogue is based on lines that have been bred, selected and backcrossed in-house over many years, using foundation genetics personally developed and selected by the breeder. According to EZ Genetics, all parent lines are HLVD-verified clean through Tumi Genomics.
Two core lines form the foundation of much of EZ Seed Bank’s breeding work. The first is Oishii NYZ, which combines Archive’s Oishii—selected for its resin production, complex Zkittlez profile and cleaner-style aromas—with EZ’s own NYZ line.
NYZ was created from a Zkittlez clone crossed with a Karma Genetics Sour D Bx2 male, with the #14 selection chosen for its distinctive 65/35 sour-to-Zkittlez terpene balance and vigorous structure. While genetically similar to Karma’s Zowahh, NYZ is an independent selection. Its offspring can display a broad range of expressions, from dry-sheet Zkittlez and sharp sour gas to sweet candy aromas, with strong potential for both high-quality flower and washing.
The second major line, Zookz, takes EZ’s in-house breeding further by combining TK41—Triangle Kush crossed with reversed Gelato 41—with Zkittlez Bx1, an in-house cross of Zkittlez and NYZ. Zookz brings together intense Zkittlez candy and gas flavours with heavy frost, vigorous growth and a pronounced OG character, making it a distinctive foundation for the crosses in which it is used.
