Bardi Green is plant nerd turned street botanist on the East coast in New Jersey and Mass.
Bardi held a passion for growing cannabis at an early age, germinating any seeds he found just to see how they would grow. He built a lot of relationships early with other growers and tokers who had the same passion for growing cannabis.
Voohoo Genetics is focused and dedicated to growing the best bud you can smoke.
Bardi Green met with cannabis researcher Lyle Kraker and PHD Larry Kramer in Western Mass in 09' where he worked in a plant research lab with a valuable drug plant called Deadly Nightshade. Bardi worked with Larry Kramer between a greenhouse and a dedicated testing lab isolating scopolamine and other active valuable compounds found in Deadly Nightshade.
Throughout their time working together, Larry was a great influence and source of plant knowledge for Bardi G. Being a California native himself, Larry knew all about growing cannabis from his family. Bardi was growing his own medicine at home and was on the forefront of the home-grow movement. A lot of his friends and family saw Bardi turn closets and bedrooms into jungles with his green thumb.
In 2012, Bardi was smoking Fire OG kush, Green Ribbon, and Raskal lemon - around this time is when Bardi and his smoking boys came up with Voohoo. Voohoo is what they would say when the bud was top notch.
Bardi is a valuable resource to the cannabis community. He brings years of genetics knowledge, growing experience and plant research to the table. He has a skill for building the finest flower menus for dispensaries and commercial cultivation sites. He helped well-known cannabis companies in their start-ups at the forefront of the legal medical cannabis movement in many states. He created their genetic menus and monitored the cultivation of them. Bardi also has a passion for consulting medical cannabis patients who have questions about growing or want to start.
Through many years of tough experiences as a grower, Bardi held onto these experiences as tools. He developed his passion for breeding by collecting plants and seeds he loved to smoke.
