The more likely story as told by the supposed originator is P91 is a Skunk #1 Thai hybrid, with an exceptional S.S.S.C. Skunk #1 female being hit by a silver highland Thai male, both strains extremely purebred and very vigorous.
The P91 clone was selected for finishing extremely fast （amber trichomes early on） and having a knock-out effect with a peanut oil dirt rock flavor. It does not stand for Poway class of '91 but for Peanutty and 1991 being it's birth year made the name P91 stick.
The many crosses of P91 were gifted and traded far more often than the original Skunk x Thai F1 hybrid. There was P91 x Skunk #1, a P91xSk#1xNL （Poway group grew commercially and made this famous, this is what most people think P91 is because of how much they grew and sold）,there was P91 x Haze aka Phaze91, plus others. These crosses were already going around in 1992, all made by the creator of P91.
Seedfinder needs to stop publishing rumors and stories without real solid facts for strain information. No way it came about by selfing NL and using the same males three times, there is too much vigor and structure wise it presents as a world class F1 hybrid between two extremely purebred yet vigorous strains, not as the rumor story on here suggests! A good yield but taking until after November 1st to mature at 39 degrees latitude. Interestingly enough under 12/12 lighting indoors she finishes at about 8-9 weeks, perhaps stress can add a week or two to a plant which shows 75% amber trichome glands at 50 days, and at 60 days around 90% amber, more updates next time I grow her indoors. The cutting I have is either P91 or P91 x Skunk 1 （which would be Skunk 1 x Thai male （Skunk 1 male）
