Very nice strain!
Had a pack of 10 regular seeds and popped 5 of them so far.
One was a male, 3 females and i let one die due to neglect (shame on me).
The male was sorted out, and the 3 females grew very similar with almost no differences between them.
Out of the 3 females i kept one that was slightly stretchier and had the strongest smell.
I have never smoked or grown any of the clone only diesels, so i dont know how a real sour diesel should smell, but the dansk diesel has a strong smell i cant really define; a bit earthy, metallic rounded with some sweetness that fills the whole room with its presence.
The diesel likes to stretch in the first 2-3 weeks of 12/12 and it takes some time till the bud production kicks in, but when it does you can see beautifull frosty calyxes filling the branches. Its done in about 10-11 weeks, the yield is average to good, and the buds are really white and sticky, propably the whitest strain in my library.
The dried buds are not the most compact ones, but the calyxes can get quite big so they look very tasty.
Its also very potent and produces a nice mellow mix of head and body high which is very pleasant, but can also be distracting and can make you lazy.
Its a great strain and it will stay in my garden for a very long time :D
I will pop more seeds soon, looking for a male for crosses and more diesel seeds haha
It should be grown by experienced growers, because if not grown in optimal conditions it can easily hermie.
I tried to use the pollen to polinate other strains, but without success so i guess the pollen are sterile and wont seed your grow if you cant provide optimal conditions. Hermies are a known issue with diesel strains btw.
Still, great plant and great weed, if you get the chance get it.
greetings hemp
