Candida is a mostly sativa variety from MM Genetics and can be cultivated indoors (where the plants will need a flowering time of ±63 days) and outdoors. MM Genetics' Candida is a CBD Strain without THC and is/was only available as feminized seeds.

MM Genetics' Candida Description

Candida is the flagship strain of Medical Marijuana Genetics, a feminized strain with very high CBD content and thus ideal for a large number of medical conditions.

It is then suitable to treat ADHD, anorexia, autism, depression, epilepsy and many others.

This strain was created in tribute to the mpther - already deceased - of the founder of this seed company, and the name means "bright light" in Latin. A ray of light for patients suffering from pains and chronic diseases, as well as muscle injuries.

This awesome Indica/Sativa hybrid was created by crossing two high CBD strains, ACDC and Harlequin. The offspring of this cross has very low THC content so it doesn't get you high.

Thus, this plant can be used throughout the day without a problem, being able to perform your daily activities while you're treating your condition.

Candida, High CBD cannabis strain

Candida can contain from 10 to 20%CBD, while THC content is never above 1%. As usually happens, CBD content depends on phenotypes.

The Sativa phenotype, with longer internodal spacing, reaches higher CBD content than the Indica phenotype, although the latter esily reaches 10% CBD.

This strain is quite stable and all plants contain high amounts of CBD, although selecting a mother plant is recommended to keep the most suitable phenotype for each user.

This CBD queen can be grown either indoors, where it needs around 9 weeks of bloom, or outdoors, where it'll be ready to harvest by October. Results are always the same, top quality medical buds!

Yields are average/high, depending on growing conditions and techniques. Indoors, it can yield up to 450g/m2, a bit more for the Indica pheno, which can reach 550g/m2 with the SOG technique.

Organoleptically, its flavor clearly reminds of citric fruits, especially lemon, with sweet and candy notes.
